 Lorne Lane is situated in a quiet location close to the town centre with easy private access to the beach. The vibrant High Street of North Berwick, with its abundance of quality shops, art galleries and restaurants is only a 2 minute walk away.
The town centre also boasts the delightful harbour area overlooked by the world renowned Scottish Seabird Centre. The historians amongst us will delight in the fact that two of Scotland’s most impressive castles, Tantallon and Dirleton are within two miles of the house.

Walkers love the wide variety of available walks but, if shopping is the preference, there is a frequent train service to Edinburgh and, for those wishing to travel by car, Edinburgh is a mere twenty miles away. Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, with all it has to offer throughout the year, is only 30 minutes away by the regular train service from the North Berwick station.

Last and by no means least, children are well catered for in North Berwick. As well as a wide range of safe clean beaches to explore, there are parks, playgrounds, a swimming pool, sports centre and a childrens nine hole golf course to keep them amused. A popular local attraction is the world famous Seabird Centre which is a short walk from the house.

For the golfers there are numerous courses in the near vacinity including one championship course in North Berwick itself - you can even check if anyone is playing the first hole by glancing out of the window - that's what Steve Elkington did when he stayed in this house during his almost successful bid to win the 2002 Open Championship at nearby Muirfield!!
